Alexa Skill “Unversal Explainer”
This is a Wikipedia skill with flexible context recognition. One of the strengths of this skill is the intelligent keyword recognition from the context of the search query. This helps when looking for ambiguous terms, like in the following example: Compare “What is cricket as insect?“ vs. “What is cricket as a game?“
The quality of the search result rises and falls with the scope of the appropriate context in the query. In the end, whether the context “fits” depends on the keywords in the Wikipedia article.

Search expression “Titanic“
"Alexa, ask Universal Explainer, what is Titanic as a ship"
==> Information regarding the ship “RMS Titanic”
"Alexa, ask Universal Explainer, what is Titanic as a movie"
==> Information regarding the movie “Titanic” (1997)
Search expression “Armstrong“
"Alexa, ask Universal Explainer: who is the astronaut Armstrong?"
==> Information regarding the astronaut Neil Armstrong

==> Information about the rockets that brought Apollo to the moon

Speed things up: combine launch command with search request
It is possible to launch the skill and combine the request with a search query:
- “Alexa, start Universal Explainer and tell me something about the Empire State Building.“
- “Alexa, launch Universal Explainer und search for an article about Royal Albert Hall.“
- “Alexa, ask Universal Explainer: who is the actor Tom Hanks?“
- “Alexa, ask Universal Explainer: what is a Black Hole?“

Repeat / read current or latest article again
Every moment the user can request to repeat reading the latest or current article using on of the following commands:
- “Alexa, repeat“
- “Alexa, again please“

- “Alexa, pardon?“
Ask for a suggestion for another search query
At any time the user may ask for a suggestion for another search query:
